The gabion mesh is used in many situations, including stabilizing earth and soil erosion, controlling river water, reservoirs, renovating canals, beautifying the environment and retaining walls. They can be made from welded mesh or braided wire. The welded grid cage is quicker to install and does not require tensioning.
